As Kate Middleton’s baby rapidly approaches, she’s making sure everything’s in order — her health, her travel and hospital arrangements — but does she have more to worry about after the baby is actually born?
Kate Middleton’s Child Could Be Prime Target For Kidnapping
Ken Wharfe, a former bodyguard for Princess Diana who was actually Prince William’s childhood bodyguard, stated in a new interview that the new royal baby is being brought into a world where the threat of kidnapping has never been higher. Talking to Look magazine, Ken explained:
Kate’s baby could be in danger. Given the political state of the world and the vulnerability of the royals, they need a lot of protection. In this terror-ridden world of ours, there’s a real risk of kidnap for this child.
Ken went on to explain that the baby will be in much more danger than William was as a child. “The world is a much more dangerous place than it was 20 years ago, when we would take William and Harry out,” he stated.
Jeez, now we’re really paranoid!

Ken — thankfully — also did a bit of reassuring, laying out the extensive security measures that will likely be taken to ensure the baby’s safety: “What they will have to do is surround themselves with police, which could be a multi-million pound operation.” Well, whatever it takes!
There is no doubt in our minds that the royal family has taken every step necessary to guarantee the baby doesn’t come into any danger. We know Kate is fierce enough and nurturing enough to stop at nothing to keep her new baby safe.
